A new restaurant on EvoCity's Mainstreet had officially opened for business yesterday. Evo Eat was founded by Brian Felix and Katie Swarzn (), two chefs who immigrated into the city from Rockford.  "Well its the most populated areas and there is a lot of business around here so we thought we would come here and see what it would be like," said Swarzn, "Just doing the same business as this but in Rockford we didn't get as much business there nobody really came in that often."

The new restaurant has been given a $65 000 refurbishment; Swarzn said that this was "to create a good atmosphere for the customers, as they will like it more and hopefully come back." The major investment into a food and drink scene that is lively and vibrant has been the talk of the town in EvoCity, people have been rushing to the restaurant in order to find out what exactly Evo Eat has to offer. "We serve Chinese food here often but we do serve Italian some times," said Felix in an attempt to brush away any speculations. The multicultural approach has been praised by leaders of minority groups across EvoCity.

"We try to get rid of people who disrupt the peace," said Swarzn referring to the rising crime rates in EvoCity, "no one wants violence in a restaurant."
